This is a must-read announcement from the Office of the Vice-Rector for Finance regarding the latest memorandum and guidelines on the new requisite for the enrolment of students with unpaid/outstanding accounts, to wit:

Subject: UNPAID / OUTSTANDING ACCOUNT BALANCE - after October 14, 2011
Please be informed that any unpaid / outstanding account balance after October 14, 2011, an interest of six percent (6%) per annum shall be charged.
Any student with unpaid / outstanding account will not be admitted or be able to enroll for the 2nd semester.
To avoid any inconvenience, kindly settle ALL you unpaid / outstanding account at the earliest time possible at the Treasury Department (formerly Cashier's Office), located at the 2nd floor, Main Building.
On-line payment or over-the-counter payment at any branch nationwide with Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Metrobank is likewise possible including Citibank paylite payment scheme. For inquiries, you may call telephone number 731-43-22 or 406-1611 local 8217.
GUIDELINES on ENROLLMENT of STUDENTS WITH UNPAID / OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS
- UNPAID / OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS - Full settlement of accounts must be made on or before cut-off period.
- INTEREST CHARGES - 6% per annum shall be charged after the cut-off period until date of payment
- PAYMENT AFTER CUT-OFF PERIOD - All payment of students with unpaid / outstanding accounts after the cut-off period will be at the Treasury Department (formerly Cashier's Office) Window 15.
- NO Promisory Notes
SECOND SEMESTER ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-2012
- PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE:
- Internal Scholars (Sto. Domingo, Sto. Tomas, San Lorenzo & San Martin) – Renew scholarship by submitting grades and other requirements to OSA Scholarship Officer. Please see OSA schedules for scholarship renewal.
- Care-of-Salary – Children of Administrative/Academic Officials, Faculty and Support Staff – Secure application form from the Accounting Division (to be accomplished by the employees).
- Foreign Students – Secure clearance from the Office of the Registrar.
- PROCEDURE FOR ENROLLMENT (UST Central Seminary Gymnasium)
- P.E. Registration – For those taking PE courses:
- For Second Year Students, choose PE course posted outside the seminary gym that does not conflict with the academic courses schedule.
- Proceed to IPEA adviser at Central Seminary Gymnasium for encoding of PE course.
- NSTP Registration - Pre-advised by STePS
- Assessment of fees and printing of Form 1/Form 1B
FORM 1 - Enrollment Form to be printed for those who will officially enroll/pay immediately.
FORM 1B - Pre-Enrollment Form will be printed for those who are not ready to pay. This is not considered official enrollment and students should pay within five working days from the date of the Form 1B to retain the advised subjects indicated therein.
- Payment of fees – Fill up “Bank Copy” Form and present it together with Form 1 to Bank teller for payment.
- Issuance of ID sticker – Present Form 1 together with the Official Receipt to ID Officer.

- Returned checks - students whose checks are returned by the bank shall be ‘blocked’ from paying checks in the future. A penalty of P1,500 shall be imposed by UST, in addition to the penalties of the bank.
